You can withdraw your investment at UpToMore at any time. Only the amount that you’ve contributed automatically in the past 60 days will be paid out with a delay. Did you invest via iDEAL, or was your automatic contribution made longer ago? Then this doesn’t apply, of course.
Example: You have €5,000 in your account. Of that, €200 was invested automatically within the past 53 days. If you request a full withdrawal, you’ll receive €4,800 immediately. The remaining €200 will be paid out 7 days later (i.e., once the most recent automatic contribution is 60 days old). During those 7 days, the €200 is no longer invested, so market fluctuations can no longer affect it.
Why wait up to 60 days?
With a direct debit, a payment can still be reversed for up to 60 days. In the past, this has often been used for fraud. That’s why the portion you invested via automatic direct debit can only be paid out after 60 days. This helps prevent fraud and keeps costs low for everyone. UpToMore follows the same policy as other investment providers.
